The Louisiana Department of Health is offering the Louisiana Children's Health Insurance Program (LaCHIP) for qualifying families who need health coverage for their children. The program will give children health insurance at no cost or low cost based on the family's income.
The LaCHIP Program covers:
Medical services for children, including health, dental, and vision coverage
Doctor's appointments, including wellness visits and hospital stays
Prescriptions and immunizations
Mental health services
Many other services
