NATCHITOCHES, LOUISIANA – On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) released the School Performance Scores for each school district across the state. These scores reflect the performance of each school from the 2023-2024 school year based on test scores and proficiency growth.
Natchitoches Parish Schools have made historical strides when it comes to school performance. LDOE’ School Performance Score (SPS) Data shows that the Natchitoches Parish School District has no "D" or "F" schools for the first time in history! NPSB also received an "A" in overall student progress, increased from two "A" school rankings in 2020 to now six in 2024, and has named five schools as Top Gains and Opportunity Honorees. Natchitoches Parish is 3.3 points higher than the average state score, and also moved up from the 43rd district in 2020 to now 27th in 2024.
