The Natchitoches Junior High School honored Veterans on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2022 by placing American flags on Veterans graves. The Student Council commemorated Veterans Day at Lawrence Serenity Sanctum as part of its Community Outreach this school year.

Today, NJHS was visited by princesses, superheroes, ninjas, power rangers, firefighters and more! Our neighbors came by and visited our decorated halls, leaving with hefty candy collections. We look forward to seeing our trick or treaters this time of year as they share laughter and giggles, and Oohs and Ahhs throughout our halls. Fall in Love With Reading 📚
The Ladies of Love Service Group members completed their first fall community service activity. L.O.L. members visited three classrooms at Natchitoches Head Start Center to promote reading at an early age.
During their visit, they read short stories to the classes, donated books to the center, and provided snacks. Let’s fall in love with reading together. 💕📚

How do you spell spirit? S...U...C...C...E...S...S! That's right! Natchitoches Junior High School students, teachers, faculty and staff celebrated our 1st Nine Week successes at our first Academic Pep Rally! Each House recognized its Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance. Houses competed in a Basketball Shoot Out and Hulu Hoop relay. The NCHS Maroon Line performed as did the NJH Cheer Squad and Band. Fun was had by all. NJH truly showed they have spirit! Can you hear it!
