This morning our 2nd grade Cubs had a special guest speaker share his personal experience of attending a tent school. 🐾❤️
Today, they were visited by Emerson Rodrigue, a NSU Cheerleader from Haiti. Emerson shared his story and experience of attending a tent school after his school was destroyed as a result of the catastrophic earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010.

Mrs. Ducote had a new assistant today!
Mr. Duncantell cashed in his hard earned CUB cash to be the “Principal’s Assistant”. He spent part of his day rewarding teachers for their hard work with free concession tickets. Mr. Duncantell selected Mrs. Shields, Mrs. Burleson, Mrs. Stepp and Coach McCart as outstanding faculty members.
Students are rewarded for outstanding behavior with CUB cash given out by all faculty and staff.
The students in Mrs. Scott’s WIN group created a backdrop for their play, then acted out “The Little Red Hen” in readers theater.
