M.R. Weaver is celebrating Red Ribbon Week 2022 on Monday, October 24th through Friday, October 28th!
The theme for this year's Red Ribbon Week is "Celebrate Life Live Drug Free!"
Students may participate in the dress down days this week by bringing $1.00 for the week!! All money raised will go to benefit the Natchitoches Parish D.A.R.E. program.
Please see the schedule below for the list of dress down days!
Monday, October 24th - Red Day
- "RED-y to Be Drug Free!"
- Wear a red shirt and jeans or wear all red!
Tuesday, October 25th - Western Day
- "Give Drugs the Boot!"
- Wear your cowboy boots, belts, hats, and/or plaid shirts!
Wednesday, October 26th - Holiday Day
- "Celebrating the Drugs Away!"
- Each triad dress in the theme of your assigned holiday!
Thursday, October 27th - Decades Day
- "Leave Drugs in the Past!"
- Wear anything from any decade (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.)!
Friday, October 28th - Costume Day
- "Say BOO to Drugs!"
- Wear your Halloween Costumes!
- **NO fake knives, NO fake guns, NO fake blood, NO fake axes!!**
If students would like to participate in the dress down days for Red Ribbon Week, please make sure all outfits are school appropriate!!
