Health Occupations Student Association (HOSA)
Meeting Day #3 Location: Science Dept. Rm. 258
Mission: To promote career opportunities in health care; foster programs/activities that develop student leadership, character, & ethical practices as well as respect for the dignity of work.
Service: Sponsor a family Thanksgiving, Donate food to Health Dept. food drive, Toys for Tots, Nursing Home visits, School Clean-Up Day
Activities: Blood Drive, Attend regional/state fall leadership workshops, Homecoming parade float, Attend Regional, State & National Conference/Competitive Events, Guest Speakers, Crawfish Fundraiser, Local CE practice w/local health professionals
HOSA will meet during weeks 1 & 3 during the months of September and October
