Placement testing is NEXT WEEK!📚

Who needs to test?
✅ Students entering 1st-9th grade and are entering OR re-entering NPSB from private school, homeschool, or other settings. Students entering grades 5th & 9th will test online; all others will complete paper-and-pencil testing.
❌ Students entering grades 10-12 do NOT need to test; However, they must contact the high school directly and provide current school transcripts.
❌ Students entering kindergarten do NOT need to test.
(If someone you know meets these requirements, please share this post with them!)

🗓 Testing will take place Monday, July 28 – Thursday, July 31 from 8:30AM – 12:00PM each day

NPSB has been named one of the top improving school systems in Louisiana following the release of the 2024–2025 LEAP results!📈🎉

Overall Achievements:
✅ 2% growth in student proficiency (double the state average)
🏆 Tied for 3rd in the state for year-over-year growth
📊 12-point increase since 2021, outperforming the state by more than double
🌟 SPED student proficiency more than doubled from 9% to 19%, ranking 4th in the state for proficiency and 3rd for growth
